Let’s ease into summer and methodology - living and learning together at beautiful Dharma Mountain

School weekend from 5 – 7 June 2026!

During each cycle we create school weekends where we can go away – it’s important to have some more time together: to chat after school hours with a cup of tea, to share laughs on forest walks, to sleep in a new space together and share moments of pleasure with delicious food.

Now kull 4 has the chance to experience this at Dharma Mountain, in Valdres, from 5 -7 June 2026

Norsk Biodanzaskole has a long history of visiting Dharma Mountain and Unni also often arranges retreats there.  It’s a place full of nature, wildlife and comfort. A place to enjoy ourselves in a new setting, together whilst we learn, with nature as our supportive backdrop.

The programme:

Methodology 1: Module 17 “Mechanisms of Action” facilitated by Unni Heim

This is a weekend full of vivencial experiences in addition to regular theory sessions exploring what it is that makes Biodanza work.

When:

Friday 5^th June evening arrival from kl 17.00 – evening meal kl 18.30 followed by vivencia

Saturday 6^th June school weekend – full day as per normal school weekend

Sunday 7^th June school weekend, depart at kl 17.00

Dharma Mountain is Dharma Mountain is located approx. 2 hours drive south-west of Oslo. You can get here by car or bus (Valdressekspressen to Nes in Ådal, and from there taxi the last part).

Accommodation:

Dharma mountain has different accommodation possibilities for us:

You can choose if you want to stay in a cabin (either single room - limited availability or a shared double room) or whether you want to sleep in your own tent or camping vogn (bobil)

 

Staying in a cabin (hytte)

Most of the cabins have two bedrooms with space for two people (one cabin is much larger and has three bedrooms). In addition, all the cabins have a sleeping loft which you are free to use. All the cabins also have a bathroom with a sink, shower, toilet, as well as a kitchen.

Accommodation options to choose from:

Single room in a shared cabin: 3,900kr (book quickly as we have very few available!)

Shared room / loft (hems):   2,600kr

Tent area / camping van (bobil): 1,900kr

·       This price includes dinner Friday evening, lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. You need to bring your own breakfasts to Dharma to make in the cabins yourself. Coffee and tea will be fully available to you the whole day through to dinner time.

·       NB: You need to take your own sheets, dyna cover and towel with you. Otherwise you can hire a set from Dharma for 260kr (NB Includes towel)

Payment and Prices:

·       The school weekend costs: 2250kr / 1450kr if you have taken this weekend before at Norsk Biodanzaskole

·       We have got a very good deal from Dharma to hold this weekend.  To ensure we can keep this price and secure your place, you need to pay a deposit of 700kr no later than 1^st April 2026

·       This deposit can be paid at the Minotaur Weekend / the March school weekend / via vipps to: Paola Havill Biodanza # 710996

·       Final and full payment for the accommodation must be received latest in May . This can pay be paid in the May school weekend and latest 20 May

 

NB: Please write in the message area when paying your deposit if you would like to order a single room- We have only 5 single rooms and these will be handed out in order of payment – første mann til mølla! After that, you can be on a waiting list for a single room.

Make sure that you have travel insurance so that should anything happen, you can cover the full costs to Dharma Mountain for the accommodation.
